정확히 Firefox 어느 버전부터 막힌 건지 기억이 나지 않지만, Firefox 40 이후 버전들은 Firefox 에서 인증하지 않은 부가기능은 설치도 사용도 할 수 없게끔 막아두었다.물론 보안상의 문제로 장점은 있으나, 유틸리티들 중 browser integrated 되는 addons 들의 경우, 여러 모로 불편할 수 밖에 없다. 주소바에서 about:config 를 치고 xpinstall.signatures.required 키를 찾아 false 로 바꾸면 이 문제를 해결할 수 있다.
